Terms of Use

NeoWords is licensed, not sold, and is distributed through the App Store.

Standard licence

Use of NeoWords is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which applies unless a custom agreement is presented to you:

The terms below supplement it and describe how this particular app works.

What you get

The first five packs and the daily Artikel-Sprint are free, permanently, with no advertising and no limits on how much you use them. Unlocking gives access to every pack in the app and to future packs added to it.

Ways to unlock

Yearly: An auto-renewing subscription with a 7-day free trial. Renews yearly until cancelled.
Monthly: An auto-renewing subscription with no trial. Renews monthly until cancelled.
Lifetime: A single payment, not a subscription. Nothing renews, there is nothing to cancel, and it is shared with your Family Sharing group.

Subscription terms

Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
A subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the period.
Manage or cancel a subscription at any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription covering the same content.
When a subscription lapses, the paid packs lock again. Your progress in them is kept and returns intact if you resubscribe.

Refunds

Purchases are made through Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy. Requests go through reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves. If something is wrong with the app, please write to us anyway — we would rather fix it.

Fair use

The word lists, illustrations, audio and text in NeoWords are ours or licensed to us, and are provided for your personal study. Please do not redistribute, resell or scrape them.

Availability

Word pictures and audio are downloaded from our content network. We aim to keep it available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Content already on your device continues to work.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above always reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
