Open You → Restore purchases, or tap Restore on the welcome screen or the unlock sheet. Purchases live with your Apple ID, so make sure you are signed in with the same one you bought with.
If you were signed into iCloud, no — progress is mirrored to your private iCloud key-value store and the app picks it up on first launch. If iCloud was off for NeoWords, progress stayed on the old device only, and we cannot recover it: we never had a copy.
That is the schedule working. Words return on the ladder — a day, three days, a week, a fortnight, a month — and the app will not invent reviews to fill the gap, because reviewing too early is what makes people forget. The all-clear screen tells you when the next batch is due.
You earned a mend: one for every seven closed rings, up to two in the bank. A missed day gets patched overnight, silently, and shows up as a 🧵 on the week strip the next morning. It is bounded on purpose, so the number stays honest.
You → Reminder time. There is exactly one a day, and it is skipped entirely when you have already closed your ring.
The weekly Blitz league runs on Game Center and is entirely optional. Check that Game Center is signed in under iOS Settings, and that you are online. Your scores are safe either way — the table appears when Game Center does.
Illustrations stream from our content network the first time you meet a word, then stay cached. On a poor connection you will see a coloured monogram instead of the picture; the lesson still works. Reconnecting fixes it.
Tap the ⚑ in the top corner of any step, or write to us with the word — German gender and plurals are the whole point of this app and we want them right.
iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → NeoWords. Deleting the app does not cancel it. Lifetime purchases are not subscriptions and never renew.
